you look like a very nice H. Carnosa

No its not a Carnosa the leaves are quite a bit longer and bigger and not as thick. They seem to be more spaced out too. Thanks for the quess

It looks like a Pubicaylx of some kind. Mine has dark colored vines though. The leaves look similar but I have a lot of speckles on the leaves.

Some one here will know pretty accurately by your photo, they always do. A great bunch of people here that have made my hoya addiction less stressful simply by offering their collective knowledge selflessly.

Definitely a great bunch of people marco, and the amount of knowledge in here to me is mind boggling. This is not a Pubicaylx, I do know what it is thought I would play a little guessing game :) thanks for responding marco hopefully I can get some more guesses

    Maybe treubiana? Here's mine...

Doesn't seem quite right, though. Your's has more veining... Has it flowered? Another guess... sp. Teneba Pass...

No not treubiana. but your right about the veining leaves, they have visibly raised veins. It has not flowered Denise but I am certain of the id. Keep guessing I think you'll figure it out

    H. acuta is my guess!

No, not H.Acuta. But I Googled that one and it's very similar, it has very simular leaves except mine are longer. keep guessing vine master.

see now those leaves look like my carnosa's leaves (see time to repot thread) does that mean that mine isnt a carnosa? or is there a kind of carnosa with speckling like yours?

    Cv Jennifer or incrasata?

No correct answer yet. Should I tell the answer, or give a hint?

Stacy - Hi. im not sure about whether carnosa can have some flecks ( the others will probably know) but the leaves in this pictured plant look very different then a carnosa, they are bigger, more narrow, not as succulent or thick, and they have raised veins. Do you have a picture of your carnosa?

i do, its in the time to repot thread. later leaves do look more like carnosa leaves but the ones near the trunk are 4-5 inches long, have veins you can see and feel and are rather thin both in width and thickness. but then again it had a rather traumatic experience for a plant

bummer. I was so sure that it was going to be one of my guesses. I have both the cv jennifer and incrasata plants as very young plants and can not tell them apart at present. They do look very much like your pictured leaves. I will keep reading this thread. Anxious to know what it is.

Carnosa can have flecks. I have a krimson princess that reverted to green and it's speckled.

Stacy- what a beautiful plant! Though it does not remind me of this plant, it also does not remind me of the H. Carnosa.. then again I am new to this. My plant has flatter not as smooth leaves. The one leaf at the top is misleading in my picture, I think it may be the flash.

It starts with the letter "A"

I am really liking this little guessing game. The one who gets it right better have a hoya that begins with "B" to keep this going. Just kidding, ? Thanks melo for helping me get back to posting and participating in things.

Lol! Sounded like a great idea to me, so many hoyas the first letter doesn't make it super simple. And your welcome, I thought it would be fun im glad your interested :)

That's it? (cricket ...cricket) No one wants to discuss the H. Amoena... Someone get this place cleared for defibrillation*

What does it smell like in bloom, does any one know or have a flower pic?

I never would have thought a forum existed where "how does it smell" is said so often, lol until I came here.

of course....it makes sense on a garden (so flowers, herbs, etc.) forum, but hopefully I don't have to explain my joke.
