Wouldn't it seem that curling leaves leads to inefficient photosynthetic ability?

Dain, yes it will but in Phil's case the leaf curl is not that conspicuous and at this point I would not worry about it. A couple of my larger seedlings have more distinct "cigar-shaped" upper leaves. I will have to move them or prune them.

I am a bit surprised about the high light intensity output of Phil's and my Mars Hydro LED panel. I would not put plants nearer than 4''/10 cm to the panel, preferably 6''/15 cm or more. My 2 weeks old seedlings are 10''/25 cm below the panel but even at this distance, their leaves curl slightly.

I think I need to move my light further away then, mine is quite close, and noticed on the above plant just one leaf looks to be curling quite tight.

Another thing to mention about the light intensity, anyone using these should really wear sunglasses, I know you think I am crazy, but after moving my plants or just inspecting them for a few minutes it makes your eyes go funny for several minutes afterwards and that's only looking at the light reflection and not the panel itself, crazy intensity lol

Phil, btw, even at a distance of 10''/25 cm, my seedlings under the LEDs are fatter and more compact than my seedlings (of the same age) 4''/10 cm under the T5HO bulbs. The "LED seedlings" simply look better. :-)

I am now saving up for another light, will prob get the double Mars unit ;)

Just ordered some seeds from Adenium centre via ebay, got some Rcn, dwarf black Rcn and some double variegated lime leaf seeds to try :) just gotta sit tight for a few weeks until they arrive :)

LED user since 2010 :)...nice leds is becoming epidemic here lol, all my grow lights is LEDS, from red to blue and just pure white for my aerogardens

Dain, seedlings are looking nice. Curious about how often you are watering them? Are they in Gritty 1-1-1 ?

I've replaced my clamp light bulbs will LEDs. They don't get hot! Still too early to tell if they are better than what was in the clamps before. My LED I ordered on Amazon will eventually make it here I suppose.

Most of them are in a mix of DE floor dry and coir fiber. I was running a bit low, so a few ended up with some left over sand/turface/bark mixture added in. There are 15 sprouts not pictured that are in the DE/coir mix. I'm spraying them every night right before I turn off the light. Additionally, I'm bottom watering every few days just to make sure they don't totally dry out.

The one top center is my pick to keep an eye on for being a fatty. Right now, it seems to be the stoutest of all the seedlings, and is also pushing out the second set of leaves like a champ.

So my Galaxyhydro LED never arrived. They said it could take up to two weeks to issue a refund. :/ I am now looking at one of the Mars Hydro reflector series. Martin is yours a reflector?

Sorry to but in here but yeah Martin and I both have a Mars hydro led from the reflector series :) the 48 x3 watt type. When I get a second light, which I think Martin already has, I am considering getting the bigger light, which is basically 2 of the above light but in the same unit so it's just one piece if that makes sense

I have got two Mars Hydro (48x3w) Reflector panels. I received both of them after about one week.

I am actually stoked about it now since I have reviewed the warranty and replacement part policies that Mars Hydro offers. Nobody in the market has this level of confidence in their own product. I think I will be happier with the Mars Hydro in the long term than if I would have actually received the Galaxyhydro.
