While eucharis's scent is fainter than many available plants, it still has a noticeable fragrance: more fresh than sweet like freshly broken lettuce and cut cucumber.

I may end up cutting mine up and throwing it in the salad. Does it smell like that if it blooms in the winter with low humidity? Mine only seems to bloom in winter, and I've noticed that some tropicals (or maybe all tropicals?) seem to have the best scent during high humidity.
