Take down that tree in front of your door and have the roots ground out to start with. Roots can grow into foundations and water and sewer lines causing major problems.

I can't tell if your house is a very light brick or what. Can you take some more pictures from different angles so we can see more of the house?

The first thing you see is the garage. I'd upgrade the garage doors with something with more interest and some windows. Then, I'd plant some flowering shrubs along the sidewalk.

too funny, i thought it was a tree trunk too, as the branches of another tree look like they are sticking out the top.

I like the modernist style of the home. I would remove all the colonial touches- coach lanterns and raised panel garage doors. Paint everything a light grey so the stone chimney ties in better ( not suggesting painting the stone) then install a beautiful wood and glass front door and maybe a wood garage door as well. Simple modern lighting.

HI -- @ Hayley--- I thought the same until I zoomed to 250 . My eyesight is not good having a blind spot in one eye . Almost had my nose on the computer screen but it does look like a tree right close in front .
