Need ideas for arranging my living room

Hi, recently bought a newly constructed home. During the showing, we liked the way the developer set up the living room. We realized after moving in however that the TV outlet and plugs are on the opposite wall. Simply flipflopping the furniture around won't work since the sofa potentially blocks the door.
We want to wall mount the TV and haven't bought a sofa or any other furniture yet.
Please see pictures and roughly drawn floor plan. Pictures are from the showing.

The TV plug is on opposite wall from where the TV is shown.
Any idea on couch size, type, and how to arrange everything in the living room?

Go without cable. If that's not an option, rerun the tv line. You'll be so much happier if you can arrange the room the way you dreamed.

I would definitely add a cable outlet to the opposite wall.

I would without a question move the outlet to the other side of the room.

Thanks all. I was told by the Dish installer that wasn't an option as the garage is on the other side of that wall, and there's something about not enough room in the dry wall. I can possibly try the wireless option but there's no power outlets on that wall either.

If I mount the TV on the wall on the left, what do you think placing the couch 4 ft or so away from the right wall and have guests walk behind the couch to enter the house? The distance to our 46 inch TV would be around 15 feet. Would the arrangement be too tacky?

Your solution sounds like it will work. It will also create an entry that avoids waling in front of TV. I would also let the builder know the stagers got it wrong. What about cable instead of a dish?

Ignore the dish installer. Get a certified electrician out to see if you can add outlets to that wall and ask the electrician about running the cable line. The consultation will probably be free. And then you can decide if the estimate is worth it.
