My new Toba's Fire bloomed

I bought this about 4 months ago and it rooted well and is now blooming. I did use a egg at the bottom of the pot to give it a better chance. Here is two pictures of it. One a couple of days ago and the other one from today. This is the only one I bought this year because I have to many. :) enjoy, barb

Stupid question - what do you mean you used an egg at the bottom *learning here*

I put a raw egg still in shell at the bottom of the pot, just over a little soil and then planted the cutting. It seems to help the plant root better. I did put a tag in the pot so I can tell that this one has an egg in it. One time the plant was doing not doing well and I went to repot the rooting and the smell was really bad. But then this is how you learn. Barb
