Mine ( in pot in new England) still some need to get ripen, look like it will be race against time ( winter is coming :) )

Is this your inground tree Martin? If you care to share I would love to hear how it is doing.

Thought i would show the beauty of this red colored resin dripping out of fig as the other one in this thread was clear.

You may notice this fig had no bloom coloring on its skin like the other one.

Hoosier the inground is doing ok as i let it grow wild this season from freezing to soil level

this past winter.
Not
paying much attention to it otherwise , it does have quite a few figs
on it hard to see in picture was an elder that grew in large container
for many years.

Martin, such a wonderful job..I think I remember seeing your tree buried under some pretty heavy snow.

I tried the in ground method here in New England but I find unless they are up against a wall which gets direct sunlight for hours starting in very early spring, I can never get the fruit to grow any bigger than a dime size and then fall moves in..I wish I had that kind of an area to grow one in ground, but all I have is an area that gets 6 hours of sunlight or less. I ripped it out of the ground and repotted it(
