I have a friend that moved
back too North, TX. from PA. He gave his
large machine away (before moving) but has the smaller going to waste here. He wanted to give it to me for my small engine
experimenting. I would hate to waste a
good machine. Since 2010 he could have
used it twice if he had wanted to vs a real need.

So can anyone give me a ballpark estimate of its value. There aren't to many Simplicity's for sale to compare to. I see other similar size/cost 2 stages listed for sale around $800. That seems kind of high since you can get a new smaller 2 stage for $800-1000. But then I see a lot of single stages listed around $300 so it has to be at least a few hundred higher than them.

So does anyone have an idea of what it is worth?

A dealer should know and
possibly purchase. BUT! A profit would
be hard for them due to the age vs condition.
Real value will be hard due to age IMO.
Hopefully someone that can use this much machine and know it will jump
in and make some suggestions.

IMHO, if you can get $4-500, take it and run. Sure it's in great condition, etc. however, it is 11 years old and if parts are needed? Also, North Jersey isn't usually a big snow area, sure, occasionally, you get one, but not a lot of motivation for a buyer.
