    Your kitchen is wonderful.

Your floors...I LOVE. WHERE did you get the flooring?

Ilovered, thank you! I love them too. They are one of my favorite things in the house. And they hide dirt beautifully. Here's a better pic of them:

Here's a link to the exact product. Can you believe they were $6 a foot?

BEAUTIFUL!!!! Love your appliances too - you'll have to update us what you think after you've had them a bit. That fridge! Oh my gawsh!

Gorgeous!!! This is similar to what we are doing except inset cabs were out of budget for our cabinet maker. It is so great to see how lovely it looks at your house, I've been worried about how mine will come together. If it's half as nice as yours I will be pleased! You recommended your floors to me awhile back and we don't have a distributor in our area. But they are so beautiful I'm going to ask my local store if they can source it - wow they are fantastic!!! Enjoy!!

Farmdrmr, we didn't have a local distributor either....I ordered the floors from a distributor several hours away. The company (Century Flooring) was great to work with. If you contact allwood, they can put you in touch with a company.

Oh WOW! Beautiful!!! I hope you love your griddle as much as I love mine. We use it twice a day most days.

Everything about your kitchen looks awesome! Congrats

I love that you went with thinner stone. It looks so much more tailored than a thick honking piece with a built up edge. I've been thinking about the feasibility of going euro thin, and the materials that might limit me to, but your tops are just perfect for your space. Love the KA - perfect color. The kitchen is gorgeous. Enjoy it in good health!

Absolutely beautiful!! I have been waiting for your 'reveal' with much anticipation! We are in the framing stage of our new build and our tastes seem so similar (your cabinetry, countertops, SHIPLAP!!). Thank you so much for generously posting everything. Now it's time to Enjoy!!

Bummer, Mrs.P!! I thought I was going to be the first one to mention the gorgeous bank of windows on the sink wall, lol!! Would love to see a daytime pic & all the light that floods in. And I am experiencing fridge envy...such a glorious abundance of space for chillin' ! Is it two separate units, a fridge & freezer?

I was noticing how many of your choices were similar to mine. So of course you have great taste. :)

Nini, yes, they are separate units. I love them! Especially at the price!

Michelle, which model's are they for the fridge/freezer? Would love to see more pics! Did you find a good deal on them locally?

Thanks Michelle! Your floors..oh my. Were you able to get stair parts to match? Do you have a basement or slab? How are your floors installed? Thank you. Again beautiful kitchen. Well done.

A Very Good Kitchen. Not just a 'pretty face'!

I love a big kitchen sink window. I do miss having more uppers near the dishdrawers.

Beautiful! Our kitchens are going to be very similar. I LOVE how yours turned out! What is the paint color you chose for your walls? It's lovely. I've been looking at similar colors. Is yours BM Revere Pewter? Gorgeous windows!

Beautiful! I love the color of the KA and the windows are awsome. Great job of putting it all together. The fireplace room is lovely with the coffered ceilings. Enjoy it, I know you've earned it:)

    Congrats - you did great!

Hey, Michelle, your kitchen is beautiful! What paint color did you use on the walls? Is it the same as the living room color? One thing that I keep waffling about is the oiled floors. Any pros/cons yet? I really like it all!

ilikepie, and daboyd thank you! Wall color in all main areas is SW Amazing Gray. So far, the oiled finish has held up great....absolutely no complaints. There were a few spots where paint was dripped on the floor and I really had to scrub...but the finish still looks the same as the rest of it. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Chicagoans, the color of the mixer is aqua blue.

Love the kitchen. I have to say I have been hemming and hawing all day about getting engineered white oak, wondering if it would look like wood or Pergo. If mine look half as nice as yours, I will be thrilled. I am originally from San Fransisco, so I have only had solid hardwood before. Beautiful, beautiful job.

Beautiful kitchen! Our kitchen has a similar palette, but with low-budget finishes/equipment. That window over the sink is gorgeous.

Timeless selections. Is the doorway between stove and fridge the entry to the pantry?

Michelle the kitchen is so gorgeous, I can't stop looking. What is the distance between the island and the counter with the range?

It's all lovely, but I especially like the wall of windows on the sink wall, with no upper cabinets. Quite elegant, yet inviting, and it looks like a comfortable home.

Lovely! I hope you'll post when the backsplash is installed. I too am planning to use a marble herringbone backsplash (our home isn't built yet though!) and would love to see yours!
