Looks like it tried to go, but something went wrong. I'm guessing the roots are in trouble. The top of the cutting is shriveling. Pull it. How is the one next to it doing?

That cutting is in a water bottle next to that big one. I was checking cuttings last night and since I had a lot, some I put two in one pot. What is wrong with that cutting is that I planted it upside down but it still tried to grow. So it is now the right end up and will see if it gets roots. First for me, but no one is perfect. I also found a seedpod yesterday on a Celadine. Barb

Good to hear. I read it take takes 9 months for a seed pod to mature. If this is true will the seed pod make it through dormancy?

That is amazing! This one gets 'filed' away in the same spot as the girl in adenium forums who made an 'upside down' graft - that GREW!

Oops. When i have cut middles i mark an up arrow with a sharpie.

This was a first for me. I think the reason that I planted it wrong was one end was very skinny and was thinking that it was the end but I should have looked for the little smiles on the side of the cutting. Never thought that it would still try to grow. Barb
