That is a nice grouping of colors. You probably planted a HOS and many plants survived as IME each individual plant only produces one color of flower. Hollyhocks are bi-ennial, putting out foliage the first year and blooming the next year. Sometimes if they are deadheaded they can survive a year or two longer. Many people let them set seed and self sow to have a continuous group with both new and second year blooming plants.
