What exactly was used to support the floating shelves? ? rebar

    Floating Shelves -- please describe how you built them? Very nice design!

    The steel pipes that support the shelving were drilled into the wall studs. The structural studs where thicker on this wall (3" x 6") due to the advanced framing so there was enough "meat" to drill the pipe into.
