The first thing you need to do is move it into a larger pot with good potting soil. Then put it outside in a semi shaded area for the rest of this season. When you get your first HARD freeze, move it to the south side of your house and cover it up with a pile of leaf's for the winter. By next spring it should be ready to produce dozens of flowers for you.

Thank you. I repotted it this morning and left it in a semi sunny area outside. Hopefully it will do well!

A S, the only thing I would change about Ken's advice is if you can dig a hole and sink the pot right into the ground and then pile leaves on it for winter that would be better than just mulching the pot with leaves.
