We are installing bamboo contemporary cabinets in our kitchen that includes an island. Our plan is to use brushed nickel hardware. All the upper cabinets are doors & the lowers are drawers. Is it ok to use knobs on all of the uppers & horizontal placed, bar style pulls on the lowers?

The exception is our pantry cabinets which consist of 3 sections 33" wide x 61" high with another box on top of each that is 27" high. Each pantry section has 2 doors of 16 1/2" wide. What would you install? Knobs or pulls? If pulls, vertical or horizontal layout? They completely fill one wall.

We have several different sizes of lower cabinet drawers that measure 15", 18", 24", 36" wide. What size hardware would you suggest? I'm guessing the 15" & 18" may use the same size & the 24" & 36" would use a larger version.
