Wall lighting for artwork?

I am in the process of deciding on a "better" piece of art for our entryway, and realized that I am going to need to do something about the lighting. The way our ceiling is sloped in this area of the room, recessed or track ceiling lighting is not an option.

Does anyone use a wall lighting solution for their artwork that works well and also looks nice? Pictures would be especially helpful.

I am currently involved in a gut renovation of my Miami condo. It has a 17x4 entry way hallway where I plan to hang my original art. I've done a lot of research on what type of gallery lighting I will be using for this area. After evaluating all the options I've settled on using Phillips TL950 T8 fluorescent lights. They offer 5000k (daylight) and industry highest CRI of 98. A color rendering index (CRI) is a
quantitative measure of the ability of a light source to reveal the
colors of various objects faithfully in comparison with an ideal or
natural light source.
