Thanks, Linda. I've never used them because I just didn't trust the whole concept of writing on a quilt with ink. But then, I have seldom done intricate quilting that required marking. I have used a fine point chalk pen, Sewline, when I did need to mark. That worked well for me. Lois

Tnx for sharing. I've never used them but was intrigued about being able to erase it by ironing. I guess I won't be trying that any time soon.

I've used them to mark lines for cutting and loved them for that. They do have places for good applications

I liked using the one with red ink for some redwork I did. It helped to be able to see the lines better and with using red thread, it didn't really matter if it shows or not....pretty well covered up anything. Same thing if doing blue.

I use them for cutting lines, too. I'm not sure I would want to put them on the finished top to follow for quilting...quilt-show-quality or not, I'd not want lines to show up.

But Sharon, I do think using a matching color with thread wouldn't be so bad.

I guess it comes down to making an informed decision to use it the way you want for your quilt. No police, remember?
