Just finished this one!

I made this for local here in Grenada who has been very good to us. It finished at 68" square and the angles were all very challenging. They were not standard angles, so I had to make pattern pieces🙄. Turned out pretty well though!

Tyvm! The colors are from the Grenada flag. Saints are the names of the parishes. Carriacou and Petite Martinique are 2 close islands in the country. The seed symbol on the flag is nutmeg, a major export.

I think the only quilt I ’designed’ similarly and nowhere near as detailed, was for the son of a nephew living in Australia.

The background of the quilt as I recall was nine patches, but the centre had my own contribution. It was a kangaroo holding both the Aussie flag for baby’s mother and a Canadian flag for his Dad. It turned out pretty well, they liked it. If I can find a picture, I will post it.
