Thank you for the compliment. I am known for incorporating antique pieces into each design as it gives the space some instant history. There are two antiques used in this kitchen. The first is this English pine plate rack. The second is an English pine dresser that I built-in to house the sink. While it would be very hard to replicate the patina of the antique dresser, I have made several replicas of the plate rack using pine, adding worming and distressing and then Briwax it for color. Or, use a wood like Wormy Butternut and the distress will be there already.
