Good luck! I have been keeping a feeder out all winter for years and have had a Calliope and several Rufous visit over the years.

Thank you so much! I haven't seen this particular bird come back after its initial visit. I have others coming through. I will try to keep a feeder up this winter. How do I keep that from freezing?

Some people set up heat lamps to shine on them. Look on line at the sites I linked, and others. You will find discussions about the pros and cons and best ways to try, or not.

I read that people take them in the house every night and put them back out in the morning.
