Your house is pretty. It just needs some accent colors and accessories. It appears that your roof is gray and your windows are white. Unless the roof needs replacing, I would leave it. It's a nice neutral color and works with the brick. Since you have the white windows, and scattered white brick, I would stick with white trim. As for the body of the house, I would go with a darker shade, but in the midrange, because your roof is not super dark.
If the roof is all gray tones, I would use a cool rather than warm color for the siding such as blues, grayish greens, or grayish taupes. You can add accent color with your shutters and front door, but I would paint the garage the main house color.

I would also start a planting bed in front of the brick at the outer corner of the sidewalk, or start at the drive and go all the way across the front. It doesn't have to all be straight lines. You can incorporate curves in you design. Planting flowering shrubs and evergreen shrubs the get about 3 feet tall would make the brick take a back seat, so to speak. You could add some lower growing ground cover or evergreens in the area by the bay window.

A dark gray with the garage doors the same colors. Bright door- red, teal whatever you think would pop. Definitely some height in landscaping. Replace the shutters with something wider. Add color with bright chairs on the porch or a big pot with flowers.

My first thought was a dark gray, as long as it's not darker than the roof. but then I guess we need to ask if you have an HOA, and if they have a set pallet of colors to choose from. I agree that the shutters need to be wider (generally speaking shutters only look correct if the would actually cover the windows that they are mounted next too), and if you're not a fan of keeping shrubs and plants alive you can do the same thing with a rock garden and well placed large boulders
