Does anyone know of a local source for the above? Has anyone ever seen them in containers in the spring at garden centers/big box stores? My garden plans specify 6 of them (taxus x media "Flushing"). The only local source I could find charges $400 each, which is way out of my price range. I have considered other replacements, but thought I would check here first.

I am really open to any type of yew that meets my requirements--narrow/column type shape, green-dark green color, eventual height between 8-15 feet, eventual width would ideally be 2-3 feet, but a little narrower would be okay, as would wider as long as it can be sheared well. Please let me know if you have seen these around either this summer or if you have seen them before in the spring. Otherwise, I will probably have to bite the bullet and choose another plant:( I really like the needles and color of the yew, FYI.
