Could it be a passion flower?

Well that would explain why I have not found any pictures matching it when I search..... Somebody told me it was a Clematis, so that is what I have been searching for. Hopefully I can find somewhere to buy this plant, but if not I was going to ask the business where I found it if I could take a clipping.

Yep, just typed in "Passion Flower" into Google images and there were a ton of them..... Thank You both for the info, I am looking forward to finding one, they are the most interesting looking flower, I can't believe I have never seen one before.

I came across it when I googled images for unusual clematis flowers, Until I looked up passion flower I thought it was a clematis too.

It's definitely a blue passion flower. I bought some this year for myself and my daughter from Michigan Bulb company.

This is a tad late but you may want to check out Passion flowers for evasiveness. You plant it in one spot and 10 over up it pops.....

Most definitely a passion flower vine. A friend gave me one - I ended up digging it out and tossing it - horribly invasive, pretty flower but not worth putting up with a plant that wants to take over like this one does. Try clematis - beautiful flowers and wont try to take over.

How aggressive passion flowers are depends on location, so folks should check out how they behave locally before fleeing in fear of a plant that will take over since it only does in some areas. It may also depend on variety; there are quite a range of passion flowers available.
