Please help me with our furniture placement. I would like to eat all out meals in the dining room. With that said I am not sure what to put in front of the bay window which the builder intended to be an eat in kitchen area. Currently I have two chairs facing each other anchored by a rug. But it looks like too much furniture and feels awkward when we try to get to the deck.

We also want to have a computer on this floor. Currently it sits on large desk in the corner of the room.

I would love a comfy sofa and table where we can look out the deck doors (we have a lovely view). But the stairs are open at the bottom. Could I put a sitting area in front of open stairs?
