I could not find one locally so had to order and I am glad I did.

How does the foliage and bloom size/form compare to PW?

Hard to say for sure because Zinfin Doll is just new this summer and my Pinky Winky is 3 years old. So for now PW is bigger. The bloom on ZD is tight and not open like PW. I like both for different reasons.

Could you let me know where you ordered a flowering shrub that got that big this first year? I would love a reputable contact. Thanks.

I got Zinfin Doll 4-20-15 from Garden Crossing. Early spring and summer we had a lot of rain and I gave it a tiny but of fertilizer. I was surprised it bloomed and did so well. I love hardy hydrangea because they are so easy. We are not having a dry spell and I am having to water some.

Thanks so much, Brooks. I will look into them for spring.

Some people plant in the fall and have good results.

I just had to post another picture of Zinfin Doll. The cool nights have given it a wonderful color

Color is fantastic!

I am going to want one more. :-)

That's beautiful! How big does it get?

I believe 6 to 8 feet

Any updates on how it looks like now? I just purchase one and its on its way to my house. Very excited to plant this.
