Looks like some sort of garden orb weaving spider and harmless. Let it be or, if its web is in the way, just break one side of the web and the spider will move (temporarily, at least). Not that many "dangerous" spiders (and even those aren't that dangerous).

Thanks for your response :) You're right about your guess on the kind of the spider :) But just one thing, about the "dangerous kind", yeah, they are really, really dangerous, I am sure you can easily find out about them and how they can cause, at least, some irreversible damage... it'll of course, depend, but that's good to know that they exist, and if possible remember of them so you or someone else don't "get caught"... Guys, thanks all of you once more!! After I got the answer from rhizo_1 and read a bit about the species, I discovered that alike a lot of other things and animals, it can only be harmful to human beings in case of an allergy to it's venom, which is there for it's prey of course :D or possible defense... :D

Oh, and zzackey, I know you were right as well (about it not being harmful) :D I cited catspa_NoCA_Z9_Sunset14's answer because it was said on it about the spider being an orb weaving one :) You have all helped me (and the spiders!) out! :D Thanks again :D

poisonous spiders by state

It seems as though the safest thing to do would be to find out what poisonous spiders live in your area, and then get a good look at photos so that you know what to watch out for. (In most states there are really only two -- black widows and brown recluses and related variations of these.)

If you're in the US, the link above should help. If you're in Australia, you'll have a lot of studying of spiders to do!

solarbright - it would have been immensely helpful for everyone if you'd said you were in Brasil in the first place. You have one of the most diverse flora and fauna anywhere and the whole question takes on a new perspective.

oh great -- the Brazilian Wandering Spider, the most venomous spider known to man . . . sounds like one to know and recognize!

solarbright, looking this up for you was an excellent education for me, as now I can let all those huge scary looking spiders in my house and garden be, as long as they don't have any red hourglasses or brown violins on them.

For you it sounds like a different education altogether -- it would be interesting to hear what you find out about your region.
