Another retreat quilt top

Here is my version of a red-work quilt! It's a printed panel, cut apart for the center squares. Each is surrounded by Drunkards Path blocks. The top will have a white border, then a white & red scalloped border. I'm waiting the arrival of a new ruler to try out for that!

Great quilt.

Those are Drunkard's Path units...right? It's a nice layout. DP pattern is on my 'wanna try' list.

Looking good, Jennifer. I think the scalloped border will enhance the scallops of the Drunkard Paths. I've seen a few of these 'paths' in real life and they are no way as nice as what you have. :-)

I always liked the red work 'look', but there's no way I would be able to actually embroider it. This was a good alternative! The look without the work! Can't beat that.

As I said at retreat, you took a plain panel and fancied it up. I think it looks great. Can't wait to see it finished.
