our new home !

We are building a new home and the siding color is Pacific Blue. We want to put shutters on it but not sure what color to go. with ? Black is kind of boring but we are not sure what else will work ?

No shutters for this home - they'd ruin it. Your window trim is nice and wide to provide interest and the protruding upper windows would look silly with shutters. Focus your shutter budget on serious landscaping to match the beauty of the home.

I think the first floor main window might benefit from shutters (black or dark blue). Not sure about the rest of your house but I wouldn't put them on any protruding windows.

Personally, I would have chosen a wooden front door (stained dark) and shutters on the lower level to match.

What a beautiful house! If you really want shutters, I would go with white actually, but the house looks completely fine without them. If you do decide to add them, please post a photo so we can see the finished product!

Then consider changing the front door to match the shutters.
