gable pediments

Does anyone have gable pediments? I don't want to go too big or small. Roof pitch is 7/12. House is a rancher. 3 peaks. The one I am concerned about is 60" from top of peak to top of window. Anyone know max size in height for pediment that would look good. Please help! Thx

i'd say do a google image search, you'll see dozens of houses of all styles, and you'll be able to judge what looks good to you. print out a couple to give to your contractor.
