you could do the metal strip. i did small tile floor to ceiling with larger tile to the sides (instead of grasscloth). we decided we wanted different colors of grout, so there is a metal strip between the two kinds of tile.

IMO, just grout gives a rough unfinished edge. You could use wood 1/4 round to finish it.

The wood looks tacky IMO if you have not done the tile a schluter edge is great if already in then a pencil trim in the same color as the tile will work.

I don't care for the pencil tile trim. It's not the same size as the tile, usually, and it gives a confused look to me.
