My plants grown from pepper joe Carolina Reaper looked like that. I think they reverted back to naga red viper. Still very hot. Hot or hotter to me than my ghost.

mine were from pepper joes, they were supposed to be reapers but got this instead, were the reapers developed from the naga?

I do believe the Reaper was a cross between bhut & red habanero, but I could be wrong..... I have pods on my Reaper plants finally, but they're still too little to tell what they're going to look like!! I have 5 plants, so hopefully they'll turn out to be true. With everyone saying that their reaper pods look off, I'm starting to wonder about my own... I guess time will tell

Cross between Pakistani Naga Viper and Red Habaneros. I have had peppers ranging from habs to ghost to even reaper pods without bumps. Crazy

thanks everyone, really apricate the info!!
