I would go with a lighter color to contrast with the surrounding trees and given the roof overhang near the entryway.

omg-you could go in so many directions! no wonder...the architecture is terrific, do you have to choose one color? I can see doing a family of colors-one for the structure at the end, another for the main, and another for the apex and recessed entry..suggest you come up with 3 color families, and then start eliminating them, and then develop your palette from there.

I take it you're not interested in doing the red barn color on the house? If not, I like the SW Muddled Basil......

I can see a yellow finish with the metal roof.

Thanks so much everyone. Our last home had a 3 color scheme. Loved it. Not sure that is what I'm looking for here. My husband wants red, but I am not interested in "matchy-matchy". Mullions are white and are between panes, so there is no changing that.
I prefer white, but the hubs wants more of a contrast from the trim. I tried a taupe, but it matched the metal roof.
Yellow is a possibility.

yes, look at the options Farrow and Ball has on their nicely curated palette-look at Savage Ground, Cord, White Tie-I just did a modern/traditional house in Savage Ground/White Tie and used Book Room Red on the doors-w a charcoal on the metal trims, and the clients love it-fresh and happy and modern too. PS-colors can be matched in whatever brand is in your area-
