Looks like the wild squash species, Cucurbita digitata, or finger leaf gourd. I've seen it a few times down your way, but the only species I'm really familiar with is Cucurbita foetidissima, or coyote gourd, which is more common from California to the Mississippi.

Apparently C. digitata is capable of hybridizing with some of the cultivated Cucurbita species, namely squash and pumpkins. It imparts it's powerful bitterness to the hybrid fruit.

These wild squash, though intensely bitter to the point of being toxic, have been esteemed for their edible dried seeds, as well as their flowers. I've tried the latter, which vary from virtually indistinguishable from cultivated squash blossoms, to intensely bitter.
