Irish potatoes Feb. 15

We intend to plant 1/2 acre of Irish potatoes Feb. 15. We have about one acre more that we could plant. All we need is planting and harvesting help. I will control the weeds, with my tractor and implements.

The field is located near Coyle Oklahoma.

Last year we donated 2,500 pounds of potatoes to various 501 C 3 organizations. We could double that this year with your help.

Please email me if you are interested. We could use a PTO driven potato digger too.

Bon,

Yup, the total amount of acreage we plant depends on how many folks commit to help harvest. We have money for seed potatoes. Best potatoes ever and free at that. We want our volunteers to take home at least 30% of the potatoes they help harvest.

There are a lot of folks around here who eat poor diets. Some of our customers are: the senior feeding programs, food banks, Lunch on Noble, Brunch on Noble, Lunch on us etc...

We also deliver food to folks who are out of food.

We are planting 200# of Irish Cobbler, 200# of Red Pontiac and 100# Kennebec.

We have another 1/2 acre we can plant at the same farm. However, we need some idea of how many folks will help with the harvest.

We dig the potatoes with a machine. All that remains is to pick them up and place them in buckets.

We want all volunteers to keep at least 1/3 of what they pick up.
