Friends, I am halfway through fixing up a space off my kitchen and need some inspiration to finish it off !!!

New tropical plants (jasmine along horiz wires on wall not yet grown), two shady trees (one lillipilli), new DIY deck. But lots of concrete! 60s red brick house, and chair/seating dilemma (red butterfly chair?). Also, there's a 'cavern' between the steps down from kitchen and the deck. How should I make best use of the space, create focal point etc etc Sideway from deck down to the back yard also just concrete but I need most of the width for a wheelbarrow. We are two with two young girls (4 and 1yo), temperate climate, close to beach. Thanks!!
