Ron, it reminds me that we sometimes overlook the importance of physiological causal agents.

I admit that I skimmed the video.....but didn't pick up on any interesting pronunciations. What did you hear, I'm curious. :-)

rhizo_1, Rhaphiolepis ; Cotoneaster ; are two that come to mind. The latter is a bit ironic for me because I enunciate each vowel in Latin words but I came up against Cotoneaster quite late in my career and say "cotton Easter". So when he said "Ko ton e ass ter", I did the proverbial 'double take'.

Full disclosure: I still slip back into - sulphur, aluminium - and words like that. Fortunately 'spell check' keeps me American. And yes! I did drive for a short distance on the wrong side of the road - once!

Ron, that's funny about Cotoneaster. It might be the most mispronounced word in Horticulture! And Rapheolepis may be the most misspelled AND pronounced, lol. So many people want to spell it Rapheolepsis.....which really messes it up!
