Amazing roots! In a different thread you mentioned that the obesum roots are too fat to do anything training with. Pagan has a list of things you can do such as braiding them or wrapping them around objects such as a decorative rock. Always options for you Jericson! These roots are incredible. From what I have read, more roots mean more lateral branching.

yeap, they can, theres tons of giant vulcanic rocks i can use here, my small obesums from seed they are beeing braided, and some will be cascading, for this one, i want her to go tall and when the time comes the bottom roots is gonna be like a jail since all roots are growing straight down

Those are really impressive roots, Jericson! Where do you find the fabric pots? I've never seen them, but didn't even know they existed.

i really like the root systems my daylilies developed over the summer … similar results with the fabric pots here … one gallon size
