Craigslist find

I just got this hoya from craigslist and did I mention FREE! Ahh Im so excited! The guy had posted it on there a few days ago selling it for $20. I was ready to fork up the money, but the gal kindly declined the money and said it was only on there to weed out unwanted buyers just looking for free stuff. Theres a ton of pundicles on it. But how ever it looks very pretty from a distance, but there is a lot of ugly sunburnt leaves and a few chewed up leaves. But I'm hopeful that it will send more vines to coverup the bear spots.

Thank you guys! I have been way to busy this past two weeks. If I had to guess I think the pot is 10 (correction- its 12 inches across at the top of the pot) inches. But I could measure it really quick today when I get home. I think the man mentioned it was a little bit over 15 years old! I would agree the marketing skills of putting a price on plants on a site like Craigslist is very smart and useful in helping to find a loving owner! There's is now support that it is growing on. I will need to find a pestistal to place it on. I have no high spots or places to hang it on the ceiling.

I think you scored BIG! It will fill in, bud up and bloom, I'm betting! And the "sellers" were wise to do it that way. They wanted a good plant home and found it. When it's free, there are so many scroungers out there who will take ANYthing, as long as it costs them NOthing!

Your hoya Carnosa Krimson Queen is so beautiful! it's simply stunning! Do you know how old it is? I would guess it is over 10 y.o. I would change the soil. Does it grow on any support? Please take a good care of this beauty!

You are really lucky! I have looked for plants on my local craigslist and haven't found any hoyas or any other plants I liked.
