Decor for bedroom?

I really need some advice on what I could do with this space. I would definitely say that my taste is more modern and I love the glam and romantic elements. I'm a photographer and I wanted to make this room more glam for my boudoir photoshoots. The color scheme I would love to have is something neutral with gold accents (the bedframe has gold nailheads). I love having just a neutral palette so I can always choose to change the color of the bedding and decorative accents, etc.
I am also trying to brainstorm where I could place shelves to give me some more storage space and how I could reupholster the worn ottoman.
So all in all, I need some advice on: the bedding, color schemes, area rug, and decorative accents that are glam/modern. Thanks in advance

Glam! I would do expensive white and or cream bedding, maybe simple RH for bed. I would find a faux fur to drape over the end of the bed.

Try one mirror and one wood end table so you have a choice for your shoots for shiny or matte. Think about mercury glass table lamps that are fat and as tall as headboard.

Full, full white sheers maybe with a bit of mirror on them for sparkle.

Large subtle area rug for softness, ottoman done in silk or satin or linen.

Paint out the dresser in white or cream with gold handles, gold sunburst mirror over dresser.

This room has the feel I was trying to discribe? Sensousness. Lightness not severe shapes and lines.

I like your bed. You definitely need bedside tables and curtains. Sosoon has some great suggestions already. Love the idea of a faux fur throw.

If your budget permits, I would go for a classic rug with beige and blue tones instead of a more modern rug...you can also do a plain plush white shag rug.

Also, I would do a blinged out chandelier instead of the fan and have it as low as possible so that you can incorporate it in you photoshoots.

Have you looked at photos for ideas, that may provide you with some great inspiration as well. First thing I would do is move your bed to the large wall so it has more impact and choices re side tables/lamps will be much easier as well. You could add your table/lamp on one side and look an antique table that can double as a working area and/or vanity dressing table for the other. Place your dresser between the windows and add a mirror above and roman blinds. Instead of a bookcase, you could look for a second hand armoire and paint/add mirrors and you could use for storage but also place your tv inside and place on the where table is presently. Don't spend a lot on a large rug, but use a smaller one on the side. I might sell the ottoman and look for a bench for the foot of your bed.

Loving the ideas!! thank you all, definitely like the idea of faux fur throw, sunburst mirror above the dresser, and blingy chandelier. Maureen: were you suggesting moving the bed to the wall where the dresser is currently? or the blank wall beside the mirror

I would suggest the one with the dresser, so your bookcase/tv can go on the shorter wall that is opposite. Then maybe your dresser could go on the other long wall vs inbetween the window and just add artwork between the windows and maybe a bench.
