Alpine Strawberries

Hi I propagated a bunch of different alpine strawberries to take to the market (it's spring here) But they are still TINY! How long do they take to reach a sellable size? And when I have different varieties in the garden to harvest the seed will they cross?

Alpine strawberries (aka wild strawberries, Fragaria vesca) ARE tiny - that's just the way they grow. Certainly they will never approach anything the size of a supermarket strawberry or regular domesticated berries. Size and shape is variable but you should expect them to reach about 3/4 of an inch, not much more.

What they lack in size, they make up for in flavor.

How slow does the plant grow? I am not selling the strawberries, sorry, I forgot to tell this, I am selling the plants. They seem to grow very slow.
