Seems sofa has leaf green and navy. What do you mean by 'darken the room' - do you mean to blend with your items?

Colors - what will be changed? wall color - where will new color go?

Is the drywall at breakfast bar a different paint color than the rest? Checking.

Cause for some reason, I like an accent color there, if there's no accent elsewhere that is.

Can you take a close up that you think is an accurate representation of your sofa fabric so we can help you choose paint colors?

See if you can find a paint color to match the blue/green color or even the gray from the sofa and use that color to paint your base cabinet beneath your bar. Then stop and rethink how "dark" you want to go. Be wary of going too dark.

You might also see if you can find some horizontal wall paper trim tape with that same blue/green color in it and use it at the top of your walls to bring the room together.
