You'll never really know. But they kinda look like White Acorn Squashes to me. But given the unreliability of the seed source, you can never be sure.

That's kind of sad. The inside is white too, so not very appetizing. I think I will just use them for fall decor and then toss out. I have a LOT of other squash to eat (Hopi black squash) that did well. I think I am going to plant more hull less seed pumpkins again next year, called Lady godiva, from another source and see how they do.

Thanks for the help! I thought, maybe, if I knew what it was I might know how to cook and eat it, but I don't think I will bother.

My guess is pepo gourd mixed with acorn squash.
