Reading /writing room

I am trying to put together a cute, cosy, reading/writing room. Have come this far. Need your advice on lighting and rugs. Anything else that you could comment / contribute is welcomed. Thanks in advance for help.

Your wall of pictures could look great with some minor tweaking (well, ok, maybe more like major tweaking). Search "gallery walls" in stories on Houzz and you'll get lots of ideas and guidance.

Replace your twin bed ( ??) cover with a box pleated bedspread - it will give a crisp corner

Love the chairs, writing table, curtains and window view. Not loving the bed. You might need to take pictures of the rest of the room.

great space. I'd love to have an afternoon nap there. I agree that the spread doesn't work and I would group the art closer together.
