I love Venegas projects!
The farm house sink reminds us of old days - and we're also seeing modern versions too.
From a practical standpoint, splatters can sometimes get onto the cabinetry just in front of the sink and having an apron-front sink (isn't that a great name?), makes cleanup very easy!

Hi Barbara,
We are the Architects for this project; this sink is in the Butler's Pantry. It was chosen to create a warmer, less utilitarian aesthetic (copper finish, wood counter tops) and to separate this area from the Main Kitchen sink area.
