What is the current style of the house? Shaker style is definitely trending right now, but some people prefer the look of the traditional raised panel.

I'm going shaker in my new kitchen. IMHO, it always looks classic and doesn't go out of style. I'm going for the modern farmhouse look, as we live in the country in a 1970s bungalow.

I think both are very pretty. I prefer the raised panel because they seem to be a bit studier and I tend towards a french country style.
