Lots! JK. What's the rest of the place like?

Attach a shower curtain rod to the ceiling and have the curtain reach all the way down to the floor. Isn't cleaning up all that water a pain? I would think so.

Have your mirror professionally framed; add some color with towels and a bathmat.

    Hi Adriana.
We at Muubs have just had the same project. Redecorating our bathroom at the office, which was a bit too white - a bit too plain. Our stylist found the elements you see below. I think it would be a great contrast to your white bathroom with some nature elements - Like wooden boxes for storage and plants. What I think is smart about this kind of decoration is that it is easy to move around and it adds personality and warmth without absorbing the light. If you need to hide things, I think some dark grey or even black baskets would look good to the wooden surface. Personally I am fan of the big minimalistic tiles you got, it has a really Scandinavian feel to it, but it needs some warmth and some personality.
Good luck with the project and let me know how how it turns out.
    Best regards

    Trine

That's a big statement! Is your entire home this style? You can install an enclosure around the shower, that will control the water. Then warm up the space by adding color through decorative elements and linens. What do you want to accomplish with this space?

It looks like water from the shower head will reach to the toilet, but miss the shower area altogether. Is there any way to adjust it? Possibly add a vertical bar to hold the shower head so the height can be adjusted, and a person can use it - it's a "hand held" shower head that's mounted too high to be "hand held".

I'd certainly add a shower curtain, and something over the windows (unless you don't have neighbors). You need some towel bars and/or hooks - something to hang a bathrobe, hang a towel within reach of the shower, hand towels near the sink.

Inside the shower, a place to hold soap and shampoo. Maybe a small teak bench if there's room.

Also need a place for toilet paper and storage for extra. A trash can. Somewhere to put toothbrush and toothpaste, hair brush, etc.

This room is very deliberately designed and intended to be simple and functional with minimal maintenance and, for the most part, I'd keep it that way.

For color and interest without interfering with the intended effect, you could add stained glass:

You could either use the stained glass as the glass to be the window pane in the larger fixed middle window or

use stained glass in the form of a framed sun catcher picture -- framed in an aluminum frame intended to be affixed in front of that larger fixed middle window .

If you opt to make the fixed window pane itself a stained glass window as/with a multiple colored stained glass picture, then choose one of the darker bright or bolder colors in that fixed window pane picture -- blue or green or red -- to be the color of the bottom fixed window, perhaps using another, lighter color from the stained glass window pic as the color for the upper window that opens.

You could also paint the door your favorite color and/or create a mural on or hang some art on the door(s) to the room.

is this a rental? If not you need to at some point gut it and make some changes. add a wider mirror over the vanity, you could put baskets of towels under the sink.m. A custom shaped track rod for a custom shower would control the water in the shower. A poly 2" blind would allow light control , privacy and will be fine with the water. paint a color on the ceiling. Add a rectangular rug ,low pile in front of the sink.
