Fluorescent lighting color temp.

Hey all,

It's about time for me to bring in my plants (focusing mostly on broms) for the winter and I need to replace many of my t5 bulbs. I'm wondering what would be the best color temp to get.

The aim is to focus on good, solid growth, get/maintain leaf coloration and just generally keeping the plants happy until they can go back out next summer.

Does the spectrum affect the coloring up of the leaves or just the intensity? Does anyone have any insight into the 6500k range vs. 5400k? Anyone have any experience or heard anything about AgroMax's Pure Par bulbs? I'm wondering if the benefits justify the extra cost.

Thanks in advance,

Bob
