I am thinking of replacing my wood back deck with composite material, but in beginning my research, there seems to be many negative comments regarding mold and staining (and that it's hot to walk on) with the top brands I've checked out so far.

Is this old information? Has the product gotten better over the years? I'd love to hear comments from people who have composite decks, and what their experiences are with it.
