Golden oak bathroom update on a budget

I'm looking for design advice for our guest bath that I can do simply. The whole house has way too much golden oak everywhere. Looking for advice on how to update this bathroom without completely gutting it. Please note the door to the bathroom and the closet door is golden oak.
