Forgive me for this question as it probably has been asked a hundred times, but I know very little to nothing about lilies. A number of years ago I bought a "Cote D'Azur" (Lilium Asiaticum) (that's what it says on the package lol). Don't even know what kind of lily that is. Anyway, I live in a very cold zone (Saskatchewan - about 2a - our winters get very cold and are quite long). It survived in my flower garden. Never really got really big so survived is probably a good word for it. Anyway, we are moving in about a month. I wanted to take it with me to my new home. However, I don't know if I will have a place to plant it yet before the snow flies so I was wondering if I could dig it up and somehow store it over the winter indoors? I do have a cold storage room in our new house so it would be cool, but not freezing in the room. I've read on these forums where people say to store lily bulbs in the fridge. Can I do that? Remember, it will have to be stored all winter, which means at least 5 months or more. Any help would be appreciated.
