We are in the process of a total house remodel. I've selected my kitchen countertop (Caesarstone Alpine Mist) and want it's appearance to be between 1.5"-2" thick. Is there a norm for the thickness (appearance) for the kitchen countertop & island? I hope my question makes sense. I basically want my countertop to appear thicker.
